They paid millions to broadcast the games. They can probably schedule the game whenever they want. Like the Angels game at 9am locally (Which may be more of a travesty than our game), and phillies 10pm locally.

On the one hand, I do understand that you pay your millions, you set the game times. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. MLB, when negotiating however many millions they got from TBS, could have retained the right to set the game times – or at least have input in them. If TBS didn’t like it, maybe FOX (which isn’t any better coverage-wise, of course) would have.
And anyway, why am I talking to you, Mr. I’ll-be-around-then-makes-about-2-comments-then-disappears? No staying power, you.

is it me or did tbs even mention the phils last night? the blow bang of rocktober was sickning …you would think we play in Utah and never won anything last year the way MLB treats us …Bud Selig is a loser he creams his pants every night hoping that it’s a LA vs NY world series …and will do anything in his power weird start times, cold weather games, and anything else to help us lose …….i’m sure tonight once the phils get the lead he will make TBS annouce that the rest of the game will be shown at 3:07 am on TNT ….and now TBS will bring you the history of the red sox dvd……..what a jerkoff

I went to sleep at 3 and then had to get up 6. I dropped my mom off at work and then had to go to class. I just took a 4-hour power nap so now I’ pumped for Clifton Lee.
Also, we should be so grateful and thankful to the Yankees. Good thing they got rid of the Twins in three or else who knows when we’d be playing.
