I was rooting for the shrimp.
July 12th, 2009 at 2:15 am
@zach, Chris, and Lynnie. Gonna have to get you guys out for the next Heist, was a ton of fun.
July 12th, 2009 at 2:24 am
dude.
July 12th, 2009 at 2:24 am
Oh… and the one thing about this game. I take back my comments on Bako being worthless. For now anyways.

PAUUUUUUL!

@Tugger, The Rain-Maker.
July 12th, 2009 at 2:37 am
careful on the computer during all the lightning! lightning can also be dangerous right before and after the thunderstorm
July 12th, 2009 at 2:57 am
It started raining 5 minutes after the game ended up here in the NE. How bout down at the stadium?
July 12th, 2009 at 3:20 am
@Gonzo, as soon as Bako had the game winning hit, it literally started to rain. Was freaking awesome. Gonna start calling him the Rain Maker.

When I saw the Stairs homer start flying towards the #HEIST section, all I could think about was the fact that meech has a second chance to catch a homer
July 12th, 2009 at 9:42 am
No Questions Asked — this was a F*N*A win! I will admit that when Bako came to the plate with score tied at 7-7 I was ready for extra innnings. Not a big fan, but I will let him have his moment in the sun. Anyone else find it funny how Bako looked like he was in pain when they were celebrating with him? Looked like a nerd getting beat up in the school yard!
July 12th, 2009 at 9:54 am
ill cut him some slack
July 12th, 2009 at 10:43 am
just on the phils website reading the comments from last night and someone commented “in case of emergency use stairs.” must have saw your awesome tshirt at the game last night. everyone was like “great catch phrase! if that was n a t-shirt i’d buy it!” so i told them all some genius already thought of it like months ago and sent them here.
also, awesome game last night. every time i go to a game they have some ridiculous rally and win. i just wish i was able to see the mets’ faces after the fightins pulled it out last night. they were probably sitting on each other’s laps watching it anyway.

This could have been better- Raul almost ended it to center while the broadcast team was not paying attention whatsoever. And in GREAT AND IRRELEVANT NEWS I just got, Dustin Pedroia will miss the all-star game! God exists!
July 12th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
@Mand: The Phillies used “in case of emergency use Stairs” as the title for a piece about him in the current program which I thought was a total rip off of the awesome shirt.
@Swift, PhiPhan, whichever you are: you have no idea how much I wish I could’ve been there.
July 12th, 2009 at 1:00 pm
@Lynniemac, I’m both. But I’m going to be transistioning to Swift over the next week or so. I’ll be starting a Youtube Blog soon. That, and it’s easier for people to refer to me as Swift, than it is PhiPhan5648.
July 12th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
is the internet ready for Swift in video form? (gasp!)
July 12th, 2009 at 2:48 pm
“The Bucs may be down, but the Pens and Steelers wear the crown”
What kind of douche brings this sign to the Phils game?
July 12th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
@lynniemac- thanks for clearing that up. still, either way you look at it it’s a rip off.
July 12th, 2009 at 3:30 pm
@Gonzo obviously someone who needs some serious mental rehablitation.
hey, Pittsburgh, yeah you have more Super Bowls than anyone else, and you just started watching hockey last year and have the cup and all that, and blah blah blah, BUT!!, the Pirates have sucked dick LITERALLY for my entire 17 years of existance on this earth. HOW HAPPY CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE WHEN YOU HAVE A GLORIFIED AA TEAM PLAYING IN YOUR CITY.
AND YOU DONT EVEN HAVE A BASKETBALL TEAM, so shut the fuck up, Pittsburgh.
/Fucking hates Pittsburgh and thought the caps lock was necessary
July 12th, 2009 at 4:29 pm
@Swift: I figured you were in the process of a name change, just thought I’d cover myself if you were having an identity crisis or have Multiple Personality Disorder.
@Gonzo: I saw that guy’s sign during the game, but couldn’t read it because it was always behind some batter’s head. Was watching on a very small tv, so I thought it said “the BUGS may be down” and couldn’t figure out what the hell that had to do with anything. Thanks for solving that mystery for me.
