Although I said I wouldn’t be posting until after the New Year, my day off was rudely taken away from me and I was dragged into work this morning against my will. So instead of being productive here, I might as well waste some company time with a feel good video of Young James playing the part of Jimmy Claus while providing a family in need with some Christmas goodies:

I know what you’re thinking: That isn’t the editor of The Fightins and his eldest son posing with Sarge Matthews in the middle of a Sam’s Club, is it?

You cot damn right it is.

After missing out on the Sarge book signing at the Borders in Springfield, I decided to hop on the ol’ internet and find out if the whirlwind tour makes any more stops in the Philadelphia area.  It turned out that last Saturday morning the Sarge and his beat writer friend Scott Lauber would be setting up shop at the Sam’s Club in Willow Grove for a little meet-n-greet.  So I braved the holiday shopping traffic and made the 40 minute trek to pay respects to the most stylish man in broadcasting. It was well worth the trip.

The poinsettias are a nice touch, no?
