Ballgirl Jamie had one of those embarrassing “whoops I just fell on a FOX nationally televised broadcast” moments in the 9th inning of yesterday’s game against the Braves. You know, the kind where you hope that nobody saw and PRAY that some jerkoff blogger with the ability to make .gifs out of 4-second clips didn’t notice.

Sorry, Jamie. No such luck.

(Half the blame goes to Bill Baer at Crashburn Alley, Jamie. He’s the one who .gif’d it for me.)

During the 9th inning of last night’s victory over the Marlins, a lady on the third base line had a rather difficult time catching a ball thrown by Florida’s third base coach and wound up not only missing the ball, but falling down in the process. And since I love watching people fall, I figured I’d throw it up here.

Watch as Ronny Paulino taps a Brad Lidge offering foul and Joey Espada tries tossing the ball to the lady:

You’re doing it wrong, dummy!

Here’s an amateur video account of a fan EATING CONCRETE today during the Phillies/Twins game. Please keep your eye on the gentleman in blue in the upper left hand portion of the screen as he and his beer attempt to go from row 3 to row 2. It ain’t as easy as it sounds, people.

For your viewing pleasure:

It’s not really a surprise that somebody got their face broke during a Roy Halladay start, but this isn’t how you’d expect it to happen.

(Thanks to The Fightins reader Dennis Kessler for the tip. Some of us were lounging on the beach in Ocean City during the game and missed it.)

You remember that nice setup they had for the ring ceremony with the table where the rings sat and the ‘Phillies’ banner draped alongside the front?  Yeah, well it almost all came crashing down thanks to the clumsiness of some lady who was “helping” with the preparation.

Check her out in the bottom right corner as she gets her left foot caught in the carpet and somehow avoids the almost-certain disaster of collapsing the table.  She actually handled it quite well and quickly regained her composure while the other two girls pretended they didn’t see it. For comedy’s sake, it would’ve been so much better if the rings were already on the table and she fell through while the entire stadium laughed at her. Maybe next time!

Watch out for that first step, its a doozy: (View in HQ!)
