Shane Victorino sure has a strange way of showing his emotions.

After the game in which he got tossed out from center field by home plate umpire Ed Rapuano for throwing his hands in the air (this would’ve NEVER happened at a hip-hop concert!) then charged after the ump like a lunatic, Shane Victorino stood in front of a group of reporters and told everybody that he actually loves the guy. So much, in fact, that he routinely plays “grab-ass” on the field with him. Seriously:

“I love the guy, that’s why, I think I was even more upset it’s that, he’s just one of those guys you can play grab-ass with and have fun with out there on the field. You know, I mean, sincerely.”

Whaaa?? I’m hoping Shane has a different definition of the term “grab-ass” than it’s literal meaning. And here I thought it was strange when Bill Hohn gave Marlins catcher John Baker a pound last week.
