The Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from the playoffs last night in embarrassing fashion when they got their collective asses handed to them by a Dwight Howard-less Orlando Magic.  There to soak in the beating was ½ of the greatest infield ever assembled, Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins.

Howard atones for his fashion faux-pas from earlier in the week with a nice Sarge-like jeff cap, Burberry polo, black blazer (is that velvet?), and a cot damn xenon lamp on each wrist. (see those, ATJ) Young James goes casual with the green Mitchell & Ness old logo’d Phillies jacket.

And sorry for only talking about what they were wearing, but the game itself was just that dull.

Even ?uestlove agrees with me, as evidenced by his courtside Tweets:

if sitting next to Jimmy Rollins is a highlight thus far for the game. we in trouble

Unfortunately, that turned out to be pretty much the only highlight.

Just because Kyle Kendrick was left off the 2008 playoff roster doesn’t mean his ladyfriend should stop rooting for her man. While taking a break during All-Star week, Ryan Howard was partying in downtown Philly when he caught up with none other than the Snoop Dee-oh-double-gizzle at nightclub hotspot G.

(I guess you could say it was “Nuthin but a ‘G’ Thang”! …*sigh*)

The Lady Cognac sponsored event also attracted other well-known Philadelphia athletes like Shane Victorino, Rip Hamilton, and the crooked-fingered NFL analyst, Brian Baldinger.  Thankfully, Wired 96.5 morning show sidekick GN Kang brought her trusty camera to snap the photographic evidence.

Lookey-who had primo field box seats for last night’s D-Backs/Phillies game at The Bank:

That would be none other than the voice behind Arby’s “Oven-Mitt” character and recipient of over $20 mil of Roseanne Barr’s fortune, Tom Arnold. Big Tom was caught cozying up to a delightful young women who appears to be about 20 years his junior. I’m assuming it’s his girlfriend (and soon to be 4th ex-wife), because I doubt he’d have his arm around his niece like that.
