Yup, that’s Ryan Howard strolling through the back hallways of Citizens Bank Park before heading into the Phillies locker room yesterday. I’ll give him a pass on that Oswald the Lucky Rabbit tee because at least it’s not Affliction (DYK? Oswald the lucky rabbit was re-acquired by Disney from NBC Sports when they dealt Al Michaels to that network for Sunday Night Football.) but c’mon big guy — what’s up with that hat? It appears as if a pigeon took a shit on it right before he walked in the building. What’s wrong with a nice 59Fifty?
Definitely NOT a good look.
But hey, if that kind of attire in any way helps you to launch grand slams to dead center field, who am I to judge?

I’d love to see Matt Stairs wearing a “Who Farted?” or “No Fat Chicks” shirt.
Better yet, Matt Stairs wearing the Matt Stairs shirt. Can we make that happen? I feel that we need to make that happen.

my favorite shirt was the scott eyre shirt from last years playoffs when he was wearing the “back in the day” shirt with the nintendo controllers on it but stairs wearing the stairs shirt would top all.

It would be great if Phillies’ players regularly wore thefightins.com shirts. I would love to see Howard sporting the “World Fucking Champions Chase Fucking Utley” tee. He can cut the sleeves off or some shit to make it cooler.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. My hope is that whoever makes Affliction (what is your affliction anyways? Dickinbutt disease?) shirts starts lacing them with swine flu (topical reference!!!).

He went through all that trouble with arbitration and then almost going to arbitration again before getting roughly 18 million a year and he spends his money on that hat?

Albert, thats a great idea. Maybe at the Phillies Carnival this year, someone can get the players to wear the shirts.
