I smell t-shirt!
October 12th, 2009 at 9:35 am
FUCK YEAH
October 12th, 2009 at 9:59 am
FUCK YEAH JIMMY. I knew as soon as he finally got on base last night that good things lay ahead.

I love it when Shane yells obscenities on national television. Reminds me of a time a couple of years ago where they were showing the dugout cam right after a Victorino struck out. Yes children, that was the loudest f-word you’ll ever hear on television.

He might be Hawaiian, but he is every bit the perfect Philly-type athlete.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:07 am
I heard him say that right when it happened…knew it would be here today!
October 12th, 2009 at 11:18 am
Love it. How many f words on live tape are the phillies up to now?
October 12th, 2009 at 11:19 am
of coarse it was shane screaming obscenities on national television. love it.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:19 am
I loved when the camera panned the stands, and there was a bright red “Fuck Rocktober” sweatshirt in evidence.

It would really be too bad if a few thousand Fightins readers lodged a formal complaint with the FCC over the expletive that TBS broadcasted last night.
I’d really hate to see TBS get fined a shitload of money.
Really truly would.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:28 am
Formal complaint submitted. Contact me if you’d like a template.

Hoo-RAY!
Let’s close it out today! Bets on which inning features the return of Emo Ubaldo?
October 12th, 2009 at 11:54 am
I’m pretty sure the sweatshirt said, “Ruck Focktober”, but that’s a minor detail.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:55 am
I have the DVD set of last year’s postseason; Geoff Jenkins says “fuck yeah” very loudly after about three different wins.
October 12th, 2009 at 12:01 pm
Shane cursed on a comcast interview after the game but they bleeped that.
October 12th, 2009 at 12:09 pm
It was Dobbs who said “FUCK YEAH” last year. Dobber seems to always be the guy. Remember the epic “HERE COMES IGUCHI” game against the Mets? He said something I still can’t make out, sounded like “INTRODE MOTHERFUCKER”.

Brandon, I’ve honestly lost count. Shane has at least four this season alone. Utley got two big ones at the All-Star game and the WS parade last year.
Just counting Shane and Chase makes six. God only knows how high it’d be if we wiretapped Jimmy every now and again.

Euge416 Says: “I’m pretty sure the sweatshirt said, “Ruck Focktober”, but that’s a minor detail.”
That may very well be true. The camera moved quickly, and I could easily have confused the R and the F. And it’s actually funnier with the letters transposed.

“Play it over and over again fellas.”
Wait – fellas? Girls like expletives, too! Fuck yeah!
October 12th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Lynnie, in the world of sports we’re all fellas
October 12th, 2009 at 1:43 pm
I’ll accept that. And if I didn’t work with kids, this would SO be my ringtone.
October 12th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
The best part was when TBS showed the moment in replay they STILL didn’t beep it out. does that mean this counts as 2?
Fuck yeah, Shane!
October 12th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
I find this phrase hilarious when said in one’s head with the same fake Scottish accent the guy from the motor oil commercials uses (”Think with your dipstick! Jimmy!”)
October 12th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
Fuck yeah! No questions asked
October 12th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
How funny would it have been if he had actually said “no questions asked jimmy!”?
And Lynnie, I don’t work with children so I have the Chase Utley f-bomb as my ringtone.
October 12th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Maria, you rock.
October 12th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
haha, I know but yesterday while in the Container Store it came dangerously close to reaching the actual “fucking” part around a child and an old person.
