The Laziest Post In Blogging: Not-so-much about baseball edition

Hey! Guess what happened to me on Sunday? Well, I was updating my fancy-schmancy iPod Touch with the new 2.0 software when it crashed and subsequently erased my humongous 5,000+ song library. The best part was – I just erased all the songs from my laptop last week because they were taking up too much room! I’m a complete asshole, whoopee! (In case you’re wondering, I was pleading for your sympathy there. Oh, well. Onto the links…)
- Chamomiles Davis is way too modest to post this himself, so I’ll do it for him. Upon hearing the news that the world’s oldest joke was recently traced back to 1900 B.C., he went in search of the world’s oldest stand-up routine. The results are cot-damned hysterical. [Fortress of Pillows]
- B.R.O.theR. ? err… ?uestlove from The Legendary Roots Crew releases his limited-edition Air Force 1’s to downtown shop Ubiq tomorrow. Sneaker heads and Rap fans alike started lining up on Sunday for a chance to get their hands on the the eBayer’s wet dream, and Philly.com was on the scene with a camcorder. One line-waiter says about ?uesto, “The next best thing is probably Jesus.” And just as Jesus would have done, ?uest brought them all food at 3 a.m. last night. [Philly.com]

- Todd Zolecki, whom I actually enjoy reading, pulled the ol’-”I had written a full post but I lost it so here is a consensed post” gag over on his blog today. On top of that, he spelled “Fish” with a capital F and I in the headline. So guess what he did? Took the easy way out and just linked to a couple things! That’s just pure laziness! [The blog formerly known as Zo Zone]
- Congratulations to the 2008 Phillies ballgirls who took the ‘Chip at the 2nd Annual Softball Showdown at FDR Park. To celebrate, I’ve included a bunch of pics of the female participants which include – but aren’t limited to – Phillies ballgirls, Sixers dancers and Flyers icebroads. Oogle away, after the jump…

So meech, do you think I have a chance with any of the Phillies ball girls? You seemed to do well with the photos.

Robert, I’d start off with a Wingette and gradually build up to a Phillies ballgirl. (although the Sixers dancers look awfully… ummm… flexible?)
btw, I didn’t take any of these pictures. That would be creepy of me. Instead, I just searched through their MySpace pages, Flickr accounts, and hacked their cell phones.

//pervert inside-joke
No sympathy from the ‘tard here (empathy possibly?). Besides the fact that yours truly will be attending Wednesday’s game…

Ah, those Sixers dancers get younger and younger.

It’s like jailbait…You get older, but they stay the same age… Not that affects me too much at 19.

@ Meech: We start our new blog and within a few days your iPod crashes and you lose all your tunes. Coincidence? Just something to ponder.

Am I imagining things, or did you folks 86 a whole post?
August 7th, 2008 at 10:34 am
E.R.,
You are not imagining things. I published a post, it sucked and I killed it. Executive privilege grants me one mulligan per year, and I used it on last night’s poor attempt at satire.
Obviously I feel I should get anywhere from five to seven mulligans per month — especially after the “Gay Community Night” fiasco –, but Meech didn’t feel comfortable letting me screw around too much with the space-time continuum.

Just as long as Buzz Bissinger didn’t make you delete it…
