Shitty game last night, huh?  Oh well, CHOKE ON THESE!

  • A remorseful ‘Duk pens his apology letter to RAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLL!  He has yet to receive his “apology accepted” response. [Big League Stew]
  • Bill Baer always does some fantabulous work on his site, and the other day he done graphed EVERY SINGLE HOME RUN GIVEN UP BY PHILLIES PITCHERS IN 2009.  Maybe it’s because I wouldn’t have the slightest clue how to even going about doing something like that, but I find it utterly fascinating.   • While I was at the Charlie Bobblehead game the other night, those Levelers were holding a contest to see who could take the most creative/funny/interesting photo with their Charlie bobble.  Miss Bee of Phillyist was the clear cut winner; and me being a biased Birdland representer, here’s my personal favorite.  [The 700 Level] [Birdland Philadelphia]

  • Say it ain’t so –  Buddy Ryan’s son is a complete jaggov!  My boy from my old digs, Davey Chalk, screen capped the son of the former Eagles coach and new man in charges of the J-E-T-S, Rex Ryan, wearing a fucking Mets cap turned inside out and backwards during the ninth inning of a game vs. the Marlins.  How’d that rally work out for you?     I think a lot of Philly fans need to be apologizing to Raul. It has only been a month though, so we will have to wait and see how long he stays on top of the Philly crowd surf before we drop him and step on his head.

    Does anyone have a screen cap of the pregame show with Sarge and TMac talking back and forth? I could have sworn Sarge was wearing the Phillies fedora that New ERA is supposed to be producing. He was wearing a different hat come game time, though.

    I know Raul can’t keep this up all year but I think he will end the season batting over .300 (over/under probably around .305)and it is a real possibility he eclipses the 30 home run mark.

    I’m pretty sure the Wheeler Twitter is fake. There’s a lot of memes on there that I don’t think Wheels is A) aware of or B) cool enough to poke fun at.

    I’m constantly reading and posting on the forum Back She Goes, so I don’t know if the Jorge Cantu meme originated there, but that’s where I was introduced to it. Some time ago, Jorge Cantu hit a game-winning home run against the Phils and T-Mac rushed out to him to do a post-game interview.

    That has led to the “T-Mac loves Cantu” meme.

    Also on his Twitter:

    “Great win tonight, Tom’s really woried about Cantu’s wrist. Think he’ll be okay though, he’s a gamer”

    The reference to Scott Olsen being a lefty is a Wheels-ism that gets referenced a lot.

    “Cody Ross now pitching for the Marlins. ha, what a goofy lefty! What is it about those southpaws?”

    So, yeah, I think it’s fake. Ready for my face-punch. :)
