Scott Palmer is getting a little carried away with his toy truck
Posted by meech.one at 12:22 pm ET 10 Comments

Like clockwork, every Sunday I sit down with a nice hot cup of Joe and tune into Myphl17 to take in some Charlie Manuel Show/Behind The Pinstripes action to get myself geared up for the upcoming Phillies game. And every Sunday during Behind The Pinstripes (it’s like a magazine, but on TV!), former Action News anchor and current Phillies PR man and host of Behind the Pinstripes, Scott Palmer, does a cute little on-air promotion for W.B. Mason before going to commercials.

But Scott doesn’t just give a verbal endorsement for the office suppliers, he does this semi-creepy thing where he grabs a W.B. Mason toy truck and steers it along his desk while talking about the low prices that Who But offers. Well I think he went a little too far this past Sunday.

Check out this bizarre:

I guarantee that he sat there and played with the Who But Mason truck throughout the entire commercial break.

I think you’re starting to scare people, Scott.

With all the money there spending on these spots,it is 2009 they do have little remote control cars, this shit is cutting edge

  7. Reverend Paul Revere Says:

Scott drives a vintage convertible. Saw him on 95 after the game on the 4th of July. Take that for what it’s worth.

I know you guys were at the game Saturday night, but T-Mac mispronounced the word vanilla TWICE during the game… He said “Manilla” while showing two dads triming up a cone for their kids.

Also, the Dad’s both licked the same cone… It was bizarre.

  9. Lynniemac Says:

It’s a shame those dads didn’t know ice cream comes in batting helmets. MUCH less messy.

I saw Scott Palmer in his convertible on Pattison Avenue last year after a night game. He was rocking a wacky Hawaiian shirt and a Panama hat. Somehow it actually worked for him.

  10. JP Says:

Did Scott Palmer steal that bit from Josh Pincus’s Don Rosen commercial?
