Fresh off of his press conference at Citizens Bank Park, Roy Halladay took a walk (or more likely, a limo ride) across the street to the Wachovia Center to watch AI’s 1 & 2 take on ‘Bron-’Bron, Shaq and the Cleveland Cavaliers. There, he was interviewed by the very lovely, very Italian, Jaime Maggio from his comfortable suite at center court.
Also in attendance were Phillies slugger Ryan Howard and his twin brother Corey, Desean Jackson and Leonard Weaver of the Eagles, as well as Ray Emery, Riley Cote, Mike Richards and Daniel Carcillo of the Flyers. It was like a cot damn Philly athlete convention!
But enough words, I’m sure you came here for pictures and video. You can find them both — ATJ.
Here’s Ryan Howard and his twin brother Corey seated courtside:

Ryan Howard’s twin brother Corey again, who was incorrectly labeled as Eagles FB Leonard Weaver:

And here is Roy and his wife, Brandy:

Now watch Jaime Maggio’s interview with Harry Leroy Halladay:

God the sixers suck.
December 16th, 2009 at 8:59 pm
Also, Brandy looks a bit like a gold digger, ya-know-what-I-mean?
December 16th, 2009 at 9:10 pm
Has Jamie Maggio been the Sixers courtside announcer all year? I barely watch them but damn she’s a fox. more of her plase
December 16th, 2009 at 9:11 pm
what the FUCK is on Ryan howards bicep, is that like a 3D tattoo, its creepy as hell lookin
December 16th, 2009 at 9:15 pm
Howard is branded, its part of his black college frat’s ritual.
December 16th, 2009 at 9:17 pm
Hilarious when they label somebody incorrectly. I remember a Phils game last season against the Yanks when they showed some random black guy like 30 times because they thought it was John Mayberry Sr.
December 16th, 2009 at 9:17 pm
Damn, I gave away free tickets to the Sixers too!
December 16th, 2009 at 9:20 pm
Moments after the camera left these 2, Roy had a 3some with this Jaime gal and his boogie-picking wife.
December 16th, 2009 at 9:22 pm
Hahah I remember that shit with John Mayberry Sr.. It was that Saturday game against the Yankees I believe. Hilarious. That is comparable to Dick Stockton or Pat Summerall calling players names from different decades.
December 16th, 2009 at 9:22 pm
Oh and CSN’s trade of Dei Lynam for Jamie Maggio was the real blockbuster trade of the year in Philly sports
December 16th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
whatever producer let that lenoard weaver thing slip is a straight dickweed. I dont understand how these posers can work in the sports world and be that wrong.
yeah yeah i understand mistakes.. but you have to be a little out of touch to think THATS leonard weaver
December 16th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
I hope Roy Halladay doesn’t judge the Phillies based on the Sixers tonight and there’s no way in hell that Ryan Howard and Cory are twins.
December 16th, 2009 at 9:59 pm
lol twin brothers, my ass!
and yeah, cool to see Roy(!) and Ryan supporting the Sixers…as sucky as they may be right now.
December 16th, 2009 at 10:00 pm
What the fuck is howard wearing? ed hardy?
December 16th, 2009 at 10:03 pm
there are twins arent identical you know……….
December 16th, 2009 at 10:05 pm

December 16th, 2009 at 10:09 pm
Hey Wheeler, what was that song they were playing? Jailhouse Cock?
December 16th, 2009 at 10:32 pm
Really? It’s true, you really do learn something new everyday.
I get what you’re saying, but I don’t know, I just don’t see it.
December 16th, 2009 at 10:36 pm
Anyone else hear his voice crack twice?
I lol’d
Then I realized what a man crush I have on that man
December 16th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
I heard it crack THREE times.
December 16th, 2009 at 10:40 pm
ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY MEECH AND HIS PUBERTY VOICE DETECTOR
seriously though, he’s a grown man
December 16th, 2009 at 10:42 pm
He said he was fighting a cold (not in that interview), I don’t know if that had anything to do with it.
December 16th, 2009 at 10:44 pm
Labeling Howard’s bro as Weaver is not even CLOSE to as bad as Fox labeling a random black man as John Mayberry Sr.
December 16th, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Leonard Weaver was at the game, at least, with a kid who I’m guessing is his son. It’s the second time he’s been at a game this season (he was at Iverson’s comeback game, too). Maybe he’s a big basketball fan.
Fox calling the random dude John Mayberry Sr. on that Yanks-Phils Saturday game was amazing. I kept wondering, “Why is John Mayberry’s dad wearing a Panama World Baseball Classic jersey? And why didn’t he seem all that excited when his Mayberry homered?”
December 16th, 2009 at 11:37 pm
I was there & was saying to my friends how it was like every Philadelphia sports team wet dream. When they showed Harry Leroy on the jumbo-tron he got a welcoming standing O. He was pumping his fists and smiling pretty for the camera. They even intro’d Howard first then panned back to him after they intro’d Roy to see his reaction. Looked like Howard was all smiles to me. I’m sure there are a lot of happy teammates out there right now. Although I’m sure they’d be even happier if the Phils didn’t need to re-stock their damn farm & get rid of Lee.
That standing O was awesome, though. Great welcome for the big stud. Even better was when they cut to a fan wearing a Lee 34 Jersey with tape over Lee’s name. I happened to be sitting with a great view of Roy and his wife, and when they saw it they seemed to get quite a kick out of it.
Oh, & I spotted Trotter there, too. Guess the great staff missed that one. Maybe they thought it was Shaq’s cousin or something.
December 17th, 2009 at 12:33 am
Leonard Weaver definitely is a big Sixers fan. He bought a few seats on the end of the scorer’s table closest to the visitor’s bench for a block of games this season…right where Lebron did his chalk thing before the game. I know this because I sat in those seats for the second half of the Pistons game last week. $850 a pop! Obviously they were comped…
December 17th, 2009 at 12:39 am
Giving the benefit of the doubt to CSN. Maybe the wrong camera went on air and the graphic came up expected a different camera. Simple mistake. I also wonder how many people didn’t notice the error! As always great job with the video.
Thanks for sharing!
December 17th, 2009 at 12:57 am
4 times a squeaker!
December 17th, 2009 at 1:06 am
Too bad Trot didn’t wear his Panama jersey!
December 17th, 2009 at 1:25 am
after the game I saw Richards at another Temple party.
Like I’ve always said, the best way to beat your most hated rival is get really shitty the night before the game. Richards seems like he has taken that proverb to heart.
December 17th, 2009 at 1:27 am
DeSean Jackson was there too. At least thats what I got out of his outrageous tweets.
December 17th, 2009 at 2:23 am
Julius…I am your twin brudda!
December 17th, 2009 at 6:46 am
wow..black guys at a basketball game…mysterious…intriguing…fucking normal.
December 17th, 2009 at 6:49 am
something interesting:
* In an interview with Politico.com, then US President George W. Bush (who was at one point part owner of the Texas Rangers) also claimed that, if given the choice of one pitcher and one position player with which to build a team, he would pick Roy Halladay and Chase Utley: “Roy Halladay from the Toronto Blue Jays is a great pitcher. He’s a steady guy, he burns up innings.”[21]
From Wikipedia, obviously…
December 17th, 2009 at 8:44 am
Looks like that 5:00 red/clear beard shadow is starting to creep in…
December 17th, 2009 at 8:45 am
The Flyers will never pass up a good party.. They might not be able to win on the ice but they know how to knock back the cold ones & cock block the young men in Philly. Also That could be the worst hat ever on Howards nose, I mean head.
December 17th, 2009 at 9:05 am
Look at how comfortable those seats look…. mmm
Much better than the ones up in the 200 level
December 17th, 2009 at 9:22 am

December 17th, 2009 at 9:38 am
So when will Jason Sudeikis play the role of Roy Halladay?
December 17th, 2009 at 11:22 am
I would like to stick my little Phillies bat in her dugout.
December 17th, 2009 at 11:51 am

My man is sitting there in that doppleganger pic saying to himself, “My God. These. Guys. Are. Terrible.”
December 17th, 2009 at 2:08 pm
Jaime Maggio, best thing about the Sixers! I don’t watch the sixers, so I’ve never really seen her before, but she is smokin’.
December 17th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
How do you think he pitches so many innings?
December 17th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
i heart andy pettitte
December 17th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Some of the best current Philly athletes all gather around to watch the biggest losers in Philadelphia sports play basketball…
Why don’t I ever seen any of these guys at Phillies games?
December 17th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Roy Halladay doesn’t take enough Roids to beat me!
December 17th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
I was just wondering…but how often do former Phillies attend Phillies games?
December 17th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
not that it’s directly related to this topic or anything!
dkykmgk
December 17th, 2009 at 3:18 pm
I’ll be at the Linc for the Eagles / Broncos game. Aunt Laurie will be tossing me footballs and I’ll try and catch them in my open buttcheeks. My turdcutter is like velcro.
Who wants in, boys?
December 17th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
If you don’t count Milt Thompson or Larry Anderson, I’m not sure how many Phormers attend Phils’ games.
However, I know that Dutch Dalton frequently visits Phillies games from ‘88-’91 and also a lot of ‘93 season Phillies games.
December 17th, 2009 at 3:36 pm
John Kruk, at least at one point, was a season ticket holder – don’t know if he is anymore or not. I routinely see Mitch Williams and Larry Christensen in the Hall of Fame Club, as well as Dickie Noles (who works for the Phillies). And of course, there’s the Bull out in his corner for every game.
As for non-baseball Philadelphia athletes, Keith Jones used to go to a lot of games.
December 17th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
Soooo…. how long do we have to wait for a Harry III shirt?
December 17th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Bigmyc wins the prize for best comment, no questions asked.
December 17th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
@Bigmyc. Wow. Right on.
December 17th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
Howard needs to cut out this foux-beard shit, hes bringing down the general machoness of this team
December 17th, 2009 at 6:04 pm
I’ve seen FredEx and AJ Feeley on two different occasions sitting in the section up above the diamond club. Freddie had about 3 skanky blondes with him and AJ had Heather Mitts so I was pretty intrigued by each appearance.
December 17th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
yea and his faux-beard needs to go too
December 17th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
Somebody has to tell RyHo to either GROW A REAL DAMN BEARD, or lose that pussy beard crap!
December 17th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
also lol at FredEx with skanky blondes. Come to think of it though…isn’t that EVERY DAY with him?
December 18th, 2009 at 10:21 am
Thanx, Phellas. ‘Preciate the good words. (assuming the Jayson Werth victory cigar smoking pose).
December 26th, 2009 at 7:29 pm
Howard’s twin bro kinda looks like Beetlejuice.
