I thought midwesterners were supposed to be reserved and thoughtful, this is one heck of a knee jerk reaction to recent events.

-Other than Sheets/Sabathia; their 3, 4 and 5 pitchers have an ERA of 4.5…do you think we’d have their record with myers, hamels and three eatons?

-their hitters are def worse than ours

-their division is statistically better

No need to crucify anyone here, 2 series agains the cubs, then reds and bucos – I wouldn’t have bagged the season.

…I wonder why I’m so happy though?

Not so fast. This might not be the white flag for the Brewers. Just look what the firing of a manager did for the Mets.

The flipside of this is that the Brewers could take this as some kind of motivation, have a fire lit under their asses and rally for 10 wins in the last 2 weeks of the season.
