On this week’s edition of Phillies Clubhouse, CSN reporter Greg Murphy sat down for a little one-on-one time with professional hitter and purveyor of moon shots, Matt Stairs. While most of the interview centered around the awesomeness that is Matt Stairs and how it feels to be so awesome, Greg did manage to bring up a certain t-shirt that a certain web site has been selling and asked Matt what he thought about it.

Nice! I can’t tell you how honored we are here at The Fightins/Birdland to have the man himself recognize our attempt at saluting his nightly efforts. And you can guarantee that a fresh case of ‘Moon Shot’ tees will soon be delivered to the Phillies clubhouse ASAP. He was just being modest there — he definitely wants one.

I’m going to photo day July 25 with about 5 different The Fightins/Birdland shirts and my goal is gonna be to get a pic with the specific players wearing the corresponding shirt. If only there was a Redneck Recking Crew shirt …
