Jimmy Rollins channels Mean Joe Greene for an eBay ripoff site

Here’s a strange video I just found on the YouTubes.

Jimmy Rollins is apparently in cahoots with an eBay ripoff site called Anything For Sale By Owner (or AFSBO for short) and filmed an updated version of Mean Joe Greene’s iconic Coca-Cola commercial (even more updated than Troy Polamalu’s version!) at Bright House Field in Clearwater. Then some not-so-clever editor spliced in a shot of Citizens Bank Park in the beginning to make it look like it was shot in Philly.

You can’t fool me, not-so-clever editor man!

Don’t really get why the Curb music is in the second commercial…but I love it.

If anyone had the privilege of seeing the Specialty Floors in Glenside commercial, with the vampire, on like food network and csn, THAT was the worst commercial and worst acting in any filmed segment of all time.

Two things:

First, Jimmy’s dad looks like Jimmy with a thin, gray beard.

Second, the first commercial should have ended like this…

As Jimmy walks down the tunnel…

CUT TO

The kid in his bedroom. The balled up jersey is on his desk, as he feverishly types in the details into the auction site.

THE KID: “Jimmy, you’re going to make me the richest kid in school!”

THE KID picks up the jersey, and inhales, as if he is smelling the sweet odor of freshly minted cash. He fans the jersey out and admires the “Phillies” logo emblazoned on the front. He turns the jersey over to look at the back. He drops the jersey to the floor, where it lands in heap, as a single tear rolls down his cheek. He screams.

CUT TO

ADAM EATON: Hey, where did my jersey go?

It would be great if a baseball came and hit JRoll’s smiling face circa the Dicks commercial, which was awesome

I am not sure anything can beat Cherry Hill Nissan, the Friendly Nissan Giant… I can hear it now it is so disturbing with that green giant looking like Ace and Gary’s third super (life) partner
