I’m on board with pretty much everything Ryan Howard does — strike out 398 times in two seasons? Eh. Play defense like you have a ping pong paddle where your mitt is supposed to be? No biggie. Wear those hideous Affliction t-shirts when you go out clubbing? Well, that one actually does bother me, but not nearly as much as his endorsement deal with Subway. Especially since him playing in Philadelphia directly relates to this atrocity:

Speaking of Burrell and hurling (the vomitory kind), did anyone (besides me) see both Dallas Green and Bill Giles kiss the Bat in the clubhouse yesterday? There are some thing you see that you just can’t…well, you know. Blechk!

the chase utley vaseline commercial on the radio is pretty weird too.

I gotta disagree with yinz. ryan howard is real funny. I love this commercial.
