Me and my boy Jim were first row in ashburn for 6 innings, but could not ignore the n00bs around us any longer, so we moved around the 100′s for the next inning and a half. A guy with crutches, a broken leg, and a son comes up to Jim and says “here’s our tickets. we’re leaving, you have the seats.”. Section 123. Row 11. Seats 1 and 2. A perfect view. After hardly being able to not suck his dick in gratification, we sprint down the stairs to our seats, past all the n00bs leaving the game early. We realized that this would not happen unless God was going to give us a show. The Phillies couldn’t lose at this point. We knew it was over. The greatest 40 minutes of our lives. Fuck the mets.

SO glad I was there, will remember it until I die… so glad the motherfucking dockers crowd who shelled out $300 for 10th row seats all left after the 8th inning. You can tell your grandkids about how you were pulling out of the parking lot when J-roll smacked it to right and the place EXPLODED.
I always heard people talk about those games where you’re not just high fiving everyone you see, but hugging total strangers. Tonight I got to experience it, and it was fucking awesome.

Did anyone else hear that douchebag TBS announcer when they showed all the Phils fans outside after the game cheering “Beat LA”? He said, “You’re gonna have to wait a day, put a sock in it!” What a fucking toolbox! We all know who they are pulling for…Assholes.
Franzke needs to stay on the radio because his play by play is the best. When he’s not calling the game its unbearable to listen to.
I hope the TBS announcers and Joe Fox and Tim McBuck cheer for the Dodgers and the Yankees and the Patriots and the Cowboys and whoever….

My absolute favorite part of the video footage is when it flashes to the CF shot after Bruntlett has scored and you can see Happ and the bullpen guys going absolutely apeshit. BEAUTIFUL.

Nothing better than listening to announcers that truly believe in the team. Nothing will ever match Harry’s call last year, but this one comes pretty damn close.
i didnt realize someone would take the torch this quickly.. but as soon as the game was over.. bunch of comments and requests were made for the Franske/Larry call. these two better stay a pair because we cherrish them already. With the absence of Harry, Scott is taking the lead roll as the most passionate-professional since ol HK himself. i want him or larry to sing that song on the field one day

That was fantastic! Not living in the area anymore, I really hardly ever hear LA and Franzke call a game, I wouldn’t even say I’m familiar with any of our broadcasters anymore except Wheels, and LA to an extent. So I thought it wouldn’t be the same as hearing the replays of Harry calling the WS last year, but it totally was. Goosebumps for real. I am definitely shelling out for the mlb.tv radio broadcasts next year!
