Dear Readers:
Recently it has come to my attention through various channels that one of our writers, Chamomiles Davis, posted an article containing comments that were extremely offensive to the gay community.
Here at The Fightins’ we pride ourselves as being part of an open and tolerant workplace. There is no room here for prejudice or phobias of any kind (except spiders… those little bastards creep me out).
Therefore, effective immediately, Mr. Davis is hereby suspended from this blog until further notice. May God have mercy on his soul.

I’m more offended by his suspension. I guess it all depends on what you and Chamomiles consider yourselves.
Satirists = no suspension
Journalists, polemics, writers=probably a suspension
Also, the word gay is very confusing. My generation (the current one) uses it as slang for lame, stupid, while the ‘other f-word’(don’t want to risk my commentator status) is used as a homophobic slur.
I just don’t want to see another ridiculous form of censorship a la(Islamic pun intended) Jyllands-Posten.

Speaking of gay, does Wheeler have to blow everybody in the Rangers lineup. He did the same thing with the Sox and Angels. O, and Myers needs to go to AAA or needs to start hitting the missus again, because something aint right.
