Even Cute Ballgirls Are Susceptible To Boos

During yesterday’s tussle at The Bank, Blue Jays first baseman Lyle Overbay hit a sharp foul headed directly towards the ballgirl down the right field line. For some reason or another (perhaps she should try an infielder’s glove?), the ball shot through her legs and caromed off the railing into right field.
The fans were not appreciative:
Now this might seem harsh, but Philly fans DEMAND excellence if you are in position to properly field a ball.
This goes for the players on the field, fans in the stands — and yes, even ballgirls.

I’m a season ticket holder and thats the ballgirl who made the sickest play a few weeks ago and the fans were chanting her name!! You should see the errors some of those ballgirls make- she makes crazy plays often- guess everyone can have an error once in awhile. Poor girl -did anyone you tube those plays?

She the hottest one! I was there that night and that was a hard hit that took a nasty bounce. Whoever called her a bitch earlier was probably one of the assholes who was booing her. No wonder she didn’t giver you her number dude!
