This week’s dumb fan of the week is *sigh* a Phillies fan. At least I think he’s a Phillies fan…
During the fourth inning of a tie game with the Rockies and Pedro Feliz on 2nd, Chris Coste shot a ground ball down the 1st base line tailing towards the seats. That’s when a visored young fellow in Section 109 leaned over the railing and decided that getting a souvenir baseball (Suggested Retail Price: $12.99) is worth disrupting the on-field play. Security at The Bank did not appreciate his maneuver, took the ball from him, gave it to a little kid and escorted him out of the stadium:
I love how proud of himself he was for fielding a ground ball.
Congrats dummy – for being The Fightins’ dumb fan of the week.

Ah yes, he took the Walk of Shame, televised, all the way from the first row to the front entrance of CBP. What a comfortable experience that must have been!

Do you actually get kicked all the way out of the stadium, or just out of the seats? I’ve heard both.
He’s just lucky he didn’t cost the Phils anything. The crowd might not have been so forgiving. No way Coste was legging out a triple though.

They should have kicked out all of those people waving on their cell phones behind left handed batters.
In my book:

*accidently hit ENTER*
Anyway, mass murderers=lenghty prison sentence with the possibility of parole
people waving on cell phones=death penalty

I hate even more the people who sit behind home plate and talk on their phones all game. Or leave. You have the best seats, like ever. Pay attention to the damn game or give them to someone who will.
They need to be shot.

My most hated CBP Patrons:
- 35+ yr old men who still bring their glove to the game and show up 6 hours early to muscle little kids out of the way during BP.
- Drunk guy who yells “E-A-G-L-E-S” or “Lets go Flyers.” I don’t care if it’s the stanley cup finals, if you’re that into the hockey game, go home and watch versus.
- Group of 10 people who spend 75% of the game trying to start the wave
- Uber sensitive family man who brought his wife and 3.5 kids in the minivan but can’t keep the little bastards focused on the game.
- Extreme Drunks (I was one once… I think we all were.)

@Gaze
It’s really annoying when you’re listening on the radio and you hear Eagles chants in the late innings. That (along with Joe Banner, Andy Reid, and Howard Foreskin) is pushing me to the edge of Phillies-fan-who-hates-the-Eagles-because-of-external-forces snobbery.
