Contest Winners!
Posted by meech.one at 12:01 am ET 3 Comments

Contest #2 is in the books.  (Get it?  It’s a book giveaway?  Nevermind.)

Although not as many people entered the Sarge book giveaway as the last one (which personally offends me, btw), it turned out for the best.   I had less papers to print out and grade, and there were only 5 perfect scores.  That means that everyone who scored a perfect 15-for-15 will get a copy of “Phillies Confidential” promptly delivered to their house.  Or apartment.  Or P.O. Box.

So venture below the jump to check and see if you won. If you would just like to see the correct answers even though you didn’t even enter, you are also welcomed.

Might I also remind you again of the Sarge Matthews/Scott Lauber book signing taking place on Thursday, December 18th at 7pm at the Border’s books Springfield location.  I’m sure I’ll see you there.

JUMP!

And the winners are…

flypookn26, Jeff Gyomber, commenter JasonWerthHisWeightInGold, commenter Docnuts, and Genia Constanza.  Congratulations.  If you haven’t received one already, expect an e-mail shortly.

  1. MikeY Says:

Umm, I think your answer for question #11 is wrong.

“Sarge told him it was “somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40″ and as the conversation went further, he admitted that he has about 25 winter hats, which he didn’t count in the original total.”

I believe that would make the total somewhere between 55 and 60.

  2. meech.one Says:

I was very lenient on that one, MikeY. Basically, I took whatever you got except the one person who wrote “500″

  3. JaysonWerthHisWeightInGold Says:

Pleased to call myself a winner!

Also, BREAKING NEWS. The Pat Burrell era seems OFFICIALLY over as the Phils reach a 3 year deal with Raul Ibanez.
