The World Series MVP and the Flyin’ Hawaiian stopped by the L.A. studio of the Best Damn Sports Show Period last night for a quick interview.  The duo talked about their recent World Series victory, the subsequent parade, as well as your usual BDSSP trying-too-hard-to-be-funny hi jinks. Honestly, Chris Rose and John Salley did their very best to humiliate Shane Victorino — Rose made him try on a two-sizes-too-small, double-flapped helmet while comparing him to the Great Gazoo, and Sally — for absolutely no reason whatsoever — told Shane that he made more money than him last year.

But the boys took it all in stride and even stayed away from making any controversial comments this time.

A couple quick notes:

• Shane said “No questions asked” at the :45 second mark and twice between the 1:55-2:00 mark.
• The City Paper‘s James Beale beat the BDSSP guys by 2½ months on those Cole Hamels “destiny” pics
