Most of the time that I write about the lovable colorman Chris Wheeler on this here blog, I completely understand that only the people who watch Phillies games will understand what I’m talking about. Well, if his world-famous Twitter page and mentions on FOX’s national TV game of the week are any indication, all that is about to change.
While posing a “trivia question” to the audience about where pint-sized Ken Rosenthal was going after the conclusion of Saturday’s Phillies/Yankees game, the first option was “Going to dinner with Tim, Wheels & LC.” Tim, of course, is Joe Buck’s slightly less-annoying partner during the FOX games Tim McCarver, LC is former Phillies pitcher Larry Christenson, and the “Wheels” they were referring to is the man himself — Chris Wheeler.
Not like anybody watching the game gave a fuck, but the correct answer was B.) Going to see Bruce Springsteen & the powerful E Street Band. But the question itself allowed FOX cameras to focus on the Twitter addicted former PR man and he definitely didn’t disappoint.
Video of the FOX appearance and the aftermath of his new-found fame – after the jump.

No, no, no. The correct answer was “C going to see Bruce Springsteen, etc”. “B” was “Celebrating Fleet Week”.

Count how many times he says “this guy” doing a game. Most annoying commentator of any sport.

Apparently Ken Rosenthal does not like his post-game steaks served rare, but instead prefers them to be cooked middle-in.
