On behalf of out-of-market fans: thank you, thank you, thank you, guys, for this post. As much as it made me miss Harry, hearing so much of the Franzke/LA call also made me feel like I was back home for the celebration.

Yeah Ash they have called him that since he came up….me and my buddies have signed Phils shirts signed by Kendrick that he signed KRAZY K in big letters like it was written by a 2nd grader….it was hilarious.

It was pretty awesome that Kyle got the win. Looks like he just pitched his way onto the playoff roster (since Moyer is gone) – and a classy move by Chollie to bring in Lidge. THe bar went nuts.

I love our radio guys so much that I listened to ‘em on a walkman while I was at the game last night, just to “hear how they would call it” – sounds like something they used to say about Harry. Amazing stuff.
Also, a couple minutes in, Franzke says “rally towels are being waved.” It gave me chills when I heard it last night, reminding me of the HK WS 2008 call.
“Fans on their feet. Rally towels are being waved. Nothing-and-two the count to Hinske. Brad Lidge stretches. The 0-2 pitch. Swing and a miss, struck out, the Philadelphia Phillies are 2008 World Champions of baseball!!!!”
Missing HK and hoping for a memorable call from Franzke to cap off this run and put side-by-side with Harry’s.
Bring it home for Harry, boys!

I agree w/you guys totally..great night, and great call by franzke. He and Anderson are amazingly good….and have mastered the talent of when to talk, and when to let the crowd do the talking. Now, here we go into the playoffs…LETS GO PHILS!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t stand Wheels. He is horrible and always praising the other team. ughhhh, get rid of him before he scares away any young potential Phillies fans, thanks.
