Congratulations to Ryan Howard for NLCS MVP…………I was really hoping Carlos “Chooch” (the Cooch Train) Ruiz would get it…………but Ryan was a hitting fucking machine. Aw hell, they all were. What a total and complete team effort. I love these guys. They are without doubt the greatest assembly of Phillies I’ve witnessed in my 52 years on this planet.
This was just great to watch and now we have to wait a week until Game 1. This team is AMAZING.

Batting .500+ and knocking in lots of runs, but did anyone really doubt that Ryan Howard wasn’t going to win the LCS MVP? I mean, the man knocked in 14 runs and tied a record held by Lou Gehrig…

I’m thinking it probably has a lot to do with the way TBS handled the broadcst times of the NLDS against Denver. It was fairly obvious they didn’t give half a shit about Phillies fans. Afternoon games…………the 10:00pm game on Sunday night……and the way they idolized the Dodgers and acted like we didn’t even belong on the same field. If I was there, I would have booed them too.

Agreed… but at the same time, it is a shame that it happened to Ernie Johnson, who is actually a pretty decent (and respected) broadcaster. Also, it perpetuates the “bad fan” label…
