I enjoy these actual signs more than the signs that said things like “YEAH BABY” and “TUNE IN WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR THE NEXT GAME.”

If Howard can get out of his slump, then good things will happen
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:57 am
for the record, i woman-heart cliff lee, but i’d probably also man-heart him too.

Oh dude I HATE those “Tune in for the next game!” signs.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:12 am
So true about the ‘Tune in Wednesday’ sign. If I had thought of it soon enough, I’d make a ‘Tune in Wednesday’ sign that had ‘to 1210-AM on your radio’ written on the other side.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:17 am
My favorite last night just said “Purple lipped roid freak” when A-Rod was batting

Can someone please find video of when Joe Buck was announcing that Melky Cabrera was deactivated with a hamstring injury, then Fox immediately cuts to the dugout where he is jumping up and down and dancing a jig? I totally thought a bigger deal would be made of this.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:28 am
Phil Lee. If you go to http://www.espn.com
The first video that loads up mentions the Melky thing.

what Was Jayson Werth pointing at last night?
was it some kind of vulgar sign? or just some annoying fan?
anyone have any details on that?
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:44 am
Does anyone have any doubts that Chase Utley saw his last fastball of the season last night? With Howard slumping, do you switch him and Werth to give Utley some protection? Werth has a nice series and Howard the opposite of that.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:45 am
Maybe it was the return of green lazer guy.. Whatever it was, The timing made me nervous, as the whole thing seemed to distract Madson, and he threw two straight balls.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:54 am
@phil lee…..Hilarious!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:55 am
i think werth was just having hallucinations
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 am
utley’s getting walked the rest of the series
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:01 am
no more fastballs to Utley
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:01 am
sorry. nobody will ever distract me from my dear sweet chase utley.
and if we could just hang out once, i’m sure he’d understand.

didn’t the w last night make cliff lee the first pitcher to go 4 – 0 in the post season?
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:13 am
i can’t imagine that’s true but i have absolutely no proof to back up that statement.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:27 am
@20 – Cole went 4-0 last year. I really doubt they’re the first two, but I don’t know how often it’s been done.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:28 am
Unless you mean *this* post season. Then it’s probably true.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:31 am
cole went 3 – 0, his game 5 start ended up being a nd because of the tie and the delay
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:36 am
Cole went 4-0. Game 5a and 5b would have been 5-0.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:37 am
1 in the NLDS, 2 and 3 in the NLCS, and Game 1 of WS08.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:42 am
oh true. i guess 5 – 0 in the post season would be the record
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:55 am
Cliff throwing that strike to Posada after he tried to call time was sweet. Then getting him looking on the next pitch was even better.
November 3rd, 2009 at 12:05 pm
@LEEisGOD , @mw, @Here Come Da Judge
Werth was bitching about the rally towels behind home plate. He has already shown in the Rockies series that he has trouble seeing the ball when the towels are waving.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:41 am
Muscles,
Are our fans down there really that stupid? STOP WITH THE FUCKING RALLY TOWELS IF YOU WANT TO WIN. OR ELSE CHANGE THE DAMN COLOR OF THEM TO RED.
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:17 pm
Cliff Lee’s babies, I will have them.
