jay by the looks of it, the ball was headed for the cut out there, so jonny gomes would have had to fall down, have a seizure, get up and throw the ball to right field for shane to get a triple. I thought the same thing at the park last night because i thought she cut it off while it was headed to the corner, which is still pretty hard to stretch a triple when the ball is in left i suppose.

@MaxL No, the reds picked him up for spring training and cut him, no one picked him up and then I didn’t hear anything else of it. So I guess the reds ended up just taking him back.

an olympic sprinter could not have legged that into a triple, the ball would have it the short porch and litterally bounced to the fielder and a weak arm like jockbags would have been able to throw him out at third.
