  1. Watrick Says:

I’m a little surprised at how long it took to get up here. Aren’t you a bunch of guys that live in their mother’s basement? I heard all bloggers are.

  2. Chris Says:

Every post I did yesterday was from work, as was this one. I pulled this one off whilst the powers that be were in a meeting. Skills.

  3. Chase Mutley Says:

Giants fans are pissed. WFC FTW.

  4. Ant Baby Machete Squad Says:

Rob Neyer strikes again with his idiocy. Says Werth shouldn’t be an All-Star because he killed Kennedy or something.

  5. bigmyc Says:

I say F’ ‘em. I don’t care what any naysayer can muster up, these are three very talented, very productive ballplayers from the World Champions. I think that says it all.

  6. Tug Haines Says:

Wasn’t Werth unofficially voted the NL’s most underrated player back in May by all the different front offices and coaching staffs (staves?)?

All the haters need to blow the sand out of their pussies for real.

  7. GTO Says:

I love this–we took the all-star game and completely stacked it with our own team. Its like a Phillies away game where some of our team missed the plane to St. Louis haha

    ¡¡Viva el Fuqua!!

  8. dlhunter Says:

Chris Coste just got released. Thoughts?

  9. Tug Haines Says:

I’m happy about this but maybe stacking the NL team with Phillies isn’t the best way to beat an AL team.

  10. Matt P. Says:

    @dlhunter: Oy.

  11. Mand Says:

really? we couldn’t even use coste for a bargaining chip or something? houston picked him up real fast we could have at least got something for him.

and the giants fans are pissed is an understatement. it’s almost 6:00 and they’re still going off on mlb.com. they just don’t seem to get it…it’s sad really

  12. Chris Says:

    Fuck San Fran.

  13. PhiPhan5648 Says:

A bit of news thanks to David Murphy, and DNL.

The Mets have traded Ryan Church for Jeff Francoeur. Not really a blockbuster. They traded one worthless bat, for another.

  14. F The Fightins Says:

No tribute to Coste yet? What the hell is wrong with you guys? I’m sure you’ll post some stupid ass thing from our broadcasters tonight though.

  15. How do you spell retard? Says:

Nice ‘taking a shit’ face, Rauuul.

  16. PhiPhan5648 Says:

@F The Fightins, I’ll say it again John. Do the world a favor, pull your bottom lip over your head an swallow.

  17. dlhunter Says:

    @HDYSR

Speaking of which, how long have we had Tom Morello on the team?

  18. dlhunter Says:

now im disappointed to discover others have seen the resemblence:

    quick, which is which?

  19. meech.one Says:

Guess what commenters Name (required), wildthing88, R.I.P. The Fightins, OutlawPete, and F The Fightins have in common?

    The same I.P. Address!

If you’re in the market for a Chris Coste tribute, you’ve come to the wrong place.

  20. PhiPhan5648 Says:

    PWN3D!!!

  21. bigmyc Says:

Chris has done a capable job for the Phils and was a unique story on a Phantastic team.
Now bring up Marson already to back up Chooch. Bako can the assistant equipment manager.

  22. PhiPhan5648 Says:

@bigmyc, Bako is a decent defensive catcher. Was better in that respect than Coste. Coste could hit better though, same goes for Marson. I’d rather have either of them over Bako as well.

But whatever… as long as Chooch is the starter, I’m happy.

  23. fuck the mets Says:

Chris Coste has a tribute. It’s called “The 33 Year Old Rookie”. Can we please talk about how Pedro should NOT be welcomed? He’s an ex-Met, ex-SOCK, AND STILL A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG. And he has an ERA of about 8 at CBP. And he can’t hit for his life. The only way I would accept his signing is if we get Halladay using JA Happenstobebetterthantradebait.

  24. WB-Tony Says:

Though I’m as giddy as a school girl at a prom after party about the thoughts of Halladay in red pinstripes, I’d really love it if they could find a way to do it without Happ.

  25. WB-Tony Says:

    @anyone who cares
Sorry about being off topic, just felt like saying it.

  26. PhiPhan5648 Says:

@WB-Tony, I feel the same way dude. You’re not alone.

  27. drummerboy Says:

Anyone else get the “thank you” voice mail from Shane? Got the call on the home number earlier today.

  28. stevedave Says:

jayson werth is the next pat burrell, who was the next aaron rowand. 30 hr’s and 98 rbi’s then he will leave to a shit team and never reconnect with the phillies magic. victorino is definatly the team mvp, and a deserved all-star. hes the guy who works so hard on every aspect of the game, just to be considered. and im very fucking happy he made it. maybe he can convince j roll to start hitting and stealing bases like a normal lead off man…

  29. Tug Haines Says:

    tell ‘em stevedave!

  30. Watrick Says:

Wait, if Pablo is such a great third basemen, why wasn’t he in the game last night for the no hitter? The only reason it wasn’t a perfect game was because of an error on Juan Uribe at third. All Stars start games.

  31. Lynniemac Says:

Perhaps he was too distraught to start.

  32. DW Says:

Werth being named to the All Star team is a disgrace. If he had any class (which I’m quite sure he doesn’t after living in Philadelphia for an extended period) he would step aside. Charlie Manuel has shown himself to be the same rube you all wanted fired by the All Star break last year.

  33. Watrick Says:

Whoa, Dark Wing Duck posts on here?! That’s awesome!
