Our Enemy, Putting Themselves On Karmic Alert

The always-excellent Dan Levy over at On The DL recently conducted an interview with Aditi Kinkhabwala*, who covers the Mets and Rutgers for the North Jersey Record, in addition to contributing articles to Sports Illustrated.
Dan, being a good, loyal Philadelphia fan, brings up the red-going-on-white-hot rivalry building between the Mets and the Phillies. Ms. Kinkhabwala offers the following information, and baby, it’s delicious:
“Here’s the funny thing. Usually at this time of year, the Mets media relations staff will send out an opportunity to purchase playoff tickets for the media. I just asked if there was a chance for us to buy tickets, and the media relations person I spoke to said they’re too nervous to put out those requests just yet.”“They did put out yesterday – yesterday I received my credential application for the Division series. But they’re still not selling tickets to the media members. They are a very superstitious bunch up there in Queens.”
Sounds like someone put up a new motivational poster in their front office…
Meanwhile, this Phillies fan has no qualms about making you a deal right now, if you’re so inclined.

Ahh… yeah, I have a collection of De-Motivational Posters, and I think I just found my favorite one yet.
