Charlie will be right there on the bench helping Lou coach the NL All Stars, I am sure of that.

I think the fact that Fook has the entire city of Philadelphia on his side, chanting his fucking name, is a much better award than a lame ass Manager of the Year award. You think Pinella is happy with a MOY award instead of a fucking WFC Trophy? Sweet Lou would love to be in Charlie’s shoes.

Eli, you can join Stephen A Smith in lamenting the lack of formal education required to blog. I’m happy these guys do it. (Thanks fellows, I rarely post, but stop by every day)

Anyway, this really doesn’t surprise me, as most of the media has had a hard on for the Cubs all season, and the Mets after that. Our guys really upset some apple carts. I mean, they were supposed to finish second to the Mets, then they were supposed to (probably) beat the Brewers and lose to the Dodgers, and of course they were supposed to get pummeled by the Rays. Well.. we all saw how that worked out. Now I know that these are regular season awards, but it should have be indicative of how the media views our club and their achievements. That is to say, not kindly.

The one that’s gonna piss me off is when they vote Albert king of the NL again. NO ONE was more important to his club than Lidge this last season.

I just got an email from the Phillies to vote for Lidge for closer of the year. Evidently, they do have their own award. I’m sure if you go on the Phils’ website there is a link. In fact here it is:

They vote on the award before the playoffs. Quit crying, I’m sure uncle charlie would much rather have a world series ring and the cities respect
