Without it’s association with the 1980 champs, this tune is merely OK…not exactly stellar…but now that it will be forever linked with the boys of 1980 summer, it is outstanding and altogether righteous.
I’ve been texting this song to everyone Philly or baseball related in my phonebook. I know it would fire me up if I opened my texting mailbox and that gem comes blasting through….
