Roy Halladay (10-3) 2.40 ERA

PHILLIES: Canada’s collective nut is going to bust today, spraying royal pudding everywhere, when they see Roy Halladay take the mound. They will celebrate Halladay pitching by giving out 3 kisses and a pair of socks, as is tradition.

Carlos Villanueva (5-1) 3.15 ERA

BLUE JAYS: Together we work, to keep the bad guy away, he’s mean and he hurts, and his name is tooth decay.

Cole Hamels (9-4) 2.49 ERA

PHILLIES: Jon Lester gets WAY too much attention as “one of the best young left-handers in the game today” when Cole is clearly superior, which he will prove today.

Jon Molester (9-4) 3.66 ERA

RED SOX: Thought I was gonna make a cancer joke, didn’t ya?

Emotional Antonio Bastardo reacts to the Phillies win Thu, 30 Jun 2011 02:26:31 +0000 Chris

Antonio Bastardo mere seconds after he closed the game for the Phillies. Shortly after he was interviewed about the big win…

Vance Worley (2-1) 2.83 ERA

PHILLIES: Vanimal was working on a no hitter of his own last time he pitched against the A’s, unfortunately his pitch count was higher than me this past weekend. Sorry for that lame analogy. But it explains the missing game threads.

John Lackey (5-6) 7.36 ERA

RED SOX: I have a feeling the Red Sox are going to hit Worley pretty hard, so hopefully the Phillies beat up on this troll equally as bad.

Thanks to James Fayleez for the Clarence Worley pic.

Cliff Lee (8-5) 2.87 ERA

PHILLIES: Cliff Lee could care less who the Red Sox are. That being the case, why not throw his third straight complete game shutout?

Josh Beckett (6-2) 1.86 ERA

RED SOX: Josh Beckett leads the league in ERA this year but I feel like the Phils usually hit him pretty well. Also I hate him and wish him nothing but the worst today.

Johnny sits down to watch DNL Wed, 22 Jun 2011 01:25:09 +0000 Chris

There was some serious, serious diarrhea of the mouth going on over at the set of Daily News Live. Not only do we learn that Wilson Valdez is a better second baseman than Chase Utley, we also learn that COLE HAMELS SHOULD START FOR THE NATIONAL LEAGUE IN THE ALL-STAR GAME, HOWEVER HE SHOULD BE LEFT OUT OF THE PLAYOFF ROTATION. Sorry for using my outside voice but seriously, the fuck?

Naturally, @tonyisdynamic has made a video mocking this crap and in my opinion it is his finest work yet. Good work, Tony. /internet fist bump

Roy Halladay (9-3) 2.56 ERA

PHILLIES: Roy Halladay does not lead the league in complete games. He doesn’t have a complete game shut out yet this year. Two of his complete games have been losses. All of this pisses him off. Complete game shut out tonight.

Kyle McClellan (6-3) 3.96 ERA

CARDINALS: Who gives a shit about Kyle McClellan, the important thing here is Poo Holes is out for 4-6 weeks just in time to face the Phillies. Thanks Wilson Betemit!

Cole Hamels (9-2) 2.49 ERA

PHILLIES: Cole Hamels in Safeco. Probably a complete game shut out. Funny that the Phillies have the best 1-2 punch in baseball and that 1-2 punch doesn’t include Cliff Lee, but rather Coal Hammels.

Jason Vargas (4-4) 4.13 ERA

MARINERS: I didn’t know Jason Vargas was still pitching. Hopefully he still sucks.

Vanimal (2-1) 3.75 ERA

PHILLIES: Worley was sent down after his start against the Mets where he gave up 8 runs in 3 innings, but while in Lehigh Valley he strung together some good starts and now gets the call today with the Phillies needing a pitcher after the double header Wednesday.

MARINERS: I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you this but he’s really good. This probably won’t end well.
